    Giant Roaches?

Oh no I keep them as pets unless they decide to breed. But all of them look so much different from each other and there is so little information of them and sexing them. :O

    Giant Roaches?

Oh yes that one looks exactly the same but what about the black one? Man I dunno what is considered a different variant and what is a normal discoloration or shape of marks on the roach. The fresh one from today looks like the brown one but less brown wings more pronounced symbol behind the head.

    Giant Roaches?

I tried to look but all I found is Blaberus Giganteus but they are slightly off even if they are pretty massive. I am not a big roach person and I do not really know much about the variations betweew certain species and families. I did find some but all of them are very vague and sometimes give...

    Giant Roaches?

Yeah I am pretty sure it is not dubia, they are way too big. And hiss. I thought maybe Blaberus family? But still I bought them dirt cheap and wanted just some adults for my dubia colony. When I got home I was suspicious they are massive nymphs. Like twice as big. So I put them in that box and...

    Giant Roaches?

I am not sure if this is the proper thread please tell me if it is not. I bought weird looking Dubias some time ago, arounf half a year and now they became Blaberus (?). Anyone knows how to check sex of them and why they are all different colors? I am also surprised they hiss. :P First one the...

    Gravitation moult Caribena?

When I saw her look for place and stuff she moulted when i went to sleep. I was discussing her position because to me it seemed like she was moulting and others told me that she just doing things and then I woke up to a moult and crunchy Versi on the bottom spreading out and cleaning her legs. I...

    Gravitation moult Caribena?

Yesterday I observed my C. Versicolor search for place and walk around and I knew her moult is coming since I keep track of that and she surprised me with hanging herself upside down on the ceiling and while the floor was close to her it was first time I saw that. She let her abdomen hand...

You could try to use spoon to scoop it out. Tea spoon or something of the sort. How deep is it burried? And do you have any springtails?

Do you have photos? To better show us the situation? I had slings that buried food and stuff got mouldy but they were fine. There was someone else here with a big white mould cotton and the spiders were also fine.

    Repot

Tasty dubia. Feeding her was a problem in small enclosure. She was scared and always squeezed herself into the smallest hole. Once I thought she died because of the position she was in. But operation was a success. She didn't come during night but she did come out when I poked her. I was praying...

Yes they need so much more space because the vertical is not enough, when they molt (at least all mine) lay down on the ground. Rarely do I see them make hammocks.

    Repot

I went out of my way to get taller cork bark. I got springtails, duckie, fake flowers. She has a lot of space behind the cork. I will just leave her in her box inside this terrarium and see if she gets out I guess? I will add water dish at the end when she is out. Am I the only one that always...
