    How to sex your tarantula

Thank you for your reply with the photos. I did turn it over and no sign of any male organs, does have a flap, so I suspect female.

    Having some trouble

My Theraposa Apopysis molted the other day, this is what I have saved, but it has since dried out. I’m not sure if its a female or male. Could I get some advice from this part of the molt?

What is the "normal" # of T's a person should have?

I currently have five tarantulas and I’m waiting to get a brachypelma auratum. The tower of tarantulas is a constant entertainment for one of my cats. She loves watching them move around

PetSmart is the Guantanamo Bay of animals

You just can’t trust every seller online to actually sell you the best products for your inverts. Much easier going to the store and picking up a bag of soil

PetSmart is the Guantanamo Bay of animals

I have to agree with the substrate. I had bought a bag of creature soil and the bag was mulch. Had to temporarily remove my Emillia to clean out all the wood. She seemed to like it afterwards since she began exploring her enclosure

    Guess who?

Today I decided to water my tarantulas since I know they drink it and also helps with humidity. I used my water mister to fill the small ts bowls and decided hey, let me see if my emillia came out of hiding. I opened the lid and she was on the side of the decoration. I quickly took out the fish...

PetSmart is the Guantanamo Bay of animals

I understand what you’re feeling. I got my brachypelma emillia from Petco if you’ve seen my post the store employees decided it was ok to have one hide, water dish and a fish decoration. No substrate, just that. I bought her and she then proceeded to open the enclosure they house a gbb and moves...

    How to…

I’m actually waiting to see if it comes out of this fish thingy so I can add in a cork bark I purchased for it. They did tell me it has molted once while they had it but I don’t like that thing fearing it can get hurt trying to climb it.
