    Who's molted today

I went on vacation and came back to a lot of fresh spiders: Poecilotheria metallica is a little bit darker and a tiny bit more blue. My smaller Tliltocatl albopilosus is ever so slightly larger than before. My Haplocosmia himolayana finally has adult colors and looks great. Fresh, bright...

    Who's molted today

Went to feed and fill some water for my T. vagans and found a new, larger spider.

    Who's molted today

Two surprises today: Grammostola actaeon is a little bit bigger and that red booty is really coming in nicely. What I thought was an A geniculata (and what I purchased) is on its second molt since it was pointed out that was definitely not an A geniculata. It's looking more and more...

    Who's molted today

My tiny Grammostola pulchripes finally has some noticable stripes. It's still very tiny though. This beauty finally molted. It's the first molt in my care. I usually haven't felt the need to try and sex any of my tarantulas, but I may give this one a go to see if it's a female.

    Terrestrial, Fossorial, or Arboreal

    That is a beautiful tarantula!

    Who's molted today

Three recent molts: Homoeomma chilensis is a little bit bigger now. Still a long way to go, but this is a good start! My Tliltocatl schroederi spends most of its time in its burrow. It kicked out this molt and remains out of sight. One day I'll see it. Well, look who's super huge now...

    Poecilotheria/Pokie Club

Hunger finally brought the Formosa out to feed.

    Who's molted today

My smaller Brachypelma albiceps molted recently. While it doesn't have the great coloration of the larger, it's finally starting to get away from the basic brown sling that it has been.

    Cor's Collection

I may bend the rules and get old world tarantulas inspite of inter protest, but I will never, ever, ever get scorpions. No how, no way, no thanks. So here's Clamps, my Centruroides gracilis. Clamps fears no man nor cricket.

One of my great regrets is that I have two Velvet Spiders and this is the best picture I could get. My Eresus walckenairi is another pet hole. It lives in a tuft of moss and devours anything that passes by. This Eresus sp sidi blue has become more visible, but still hard to see. It's just so...

And then there's the non tarantulas that have managed to appear in my collection. I could watch these Blue Death Feigning Beetles all day. They're constantly moving and doing random things. I have four in the enclosure. As easy as tarantulas are to care for, these are even easier.

I love old worlds. This Hysterocrates gigas can supposedly swim. That's really cool. It's also a voracious eater.

    Cor's Collection

Absolutely no old world tarantulas. Except for this Harpactira pulchipes.

Yep, definitely no old worlds. Except this Monocentropus balfouri.
