3/4" versicolor sling hasn't eaten in a month

My spider successfully molted for the second time in my care :) it was just strange because after its last molt, I waited a week to feed and then fed it again 5 days after that, and that was the last time it has eaten anything. It was just weird it only ate twice that molt

Thanks that makes me feel a lot better. I knew older tarantulas can go a long time without eating I was just worried since it was a sling. He probably is in premier. Last molted July 18

3/4" versicolor sling hasn't eaten in a month

I haven't been able to buy crickets because was moving. But I've had crickets for a week now, and I try every other day. I put a cricket in there and he either seems just too slow to attack it, or he's just defending himself and doesn't want to eat. I left a pre killed in there all night and he...

    tiny larvae in water dish

I saw a group of like 20 very small larvae like the size of a grain of sand. I noticed this about a week ago and cleaned the water dish and now there back. I don't exactly know what nematodes look like, but I read that spiders will web more with nematodes? Well my spider was webbing a lot last...

    My avicularia versicolor

I love my little avic. She's just starting to show herself off more. Been crouched slightly out of her hide for a few days, since I've fed her.

    Feeding/eating question

you can feed mice to Ts occasionally, you just don't want it as a constant diet. The calcium in them isn't good for t's to have all the time, but ok every once in a while

    old world sling venom

curious as well. Another question is how big do they get before they are capable of biting you? I don't think a 1/2" sling can bite

    Help me out guys?

I have a show that's 30 minutes away. But the only show in the area. Only once a year. This will be my first year going. I feel a 300$ plus budget. I have a long list of wanted Ts.
