Doing tricks like play dead and roll over, I doubt. If you make it used to feeding it a certain time etc, they grow accustomed to their new "habitat" so they wil remember where food and water is and where they feel threatened, and where not. Based on this I will have to say "yes a T can be learned"
Schoolman, that is a different subject on it's own. I must agree that if you do not know how to handle then best leave them. Every time you handle you are subjecting yourself to a possible bite or rash. So there I agree, if you don't know then don't touch. If you handle your critter from sling...
Glad I could help. Personal advise.....will probably get crusified cause of this (hahahah) ..... Try and imitate your tank to the area you caught the T. As far as I know, the south african T's are more aggresive, so handling will be a bit of a tough one, but it's like a bee sting when bitten...

I don't mean hunting the critter to a corner and forcing it to be handled. If you want to handle a hotsnake, you need the right time, oppertunity and position. Hahah. Just saying that if you cannot "play" with your T, then why have it? Nothing like have a arachnophobe friend over and taking it...
Looking for caresheets for T's. Preferably in pdf form. Can email them to [email protected] even if it is just a caresheet you use for your T. I am planning to put them all together in one major pdf file
