I'd give the little guy a bit more space personally, I've found some really nice little acrylic enclosures on Amazon that have cross ventilation. The ones I got are 10 cm/4" cubes but they do taller ones to suit arboreal species :)

Ah yeah, I'd love an arboreal as well. Mine are all fossorial or terrestrial although my c. darlingi prefers to sit on wood rather than burrow. Still only a grown on sling though so she may still become a pet hole down the line.
