Monocentropous balfouri

Male balfouri in the middle of substrate change, he was perturbed, but surprisingly not defensive at all. That's not a regenerated leg if you were wondering, he just has his leg tucked in slightly. He was bolting around as I was putting him in the catch cup. 3 days later, he is acclimated.

About twice a week it would come out of the burrow and just chill out on top which was great but the past 4 weeks nothing I can only assume it's in molt.

More than likely, usually I try to offer a feeder to confirm if they are in premolt and if it refuses it still after 3 weeks, and they remain stationary, less active, then it is usually confirmation of premolt. Looking forward to seeing the fresh threads on your balfouri!
