Found this lil guy trapped on my front porch, captured him and put him in my backyard. Looks like a male, not too knowledgeable on these. (Notice the little spider on the leaf bottom left, the spider took off quickly once she saw the mantis, smart little spider, I'm glad she ran to safety).
Yes I agree, I nursed one of these back to health from an injured wing and it was a female with eggs, much fatter. Apparently he was out looking for a date and ended up being stood up on my porch lol.
