Yikes!! I think that there were shortcuts when he was packed up for shipping.

As long as the seller sticks behind his product, I wouldn't hold it against him unless this becomes a regular problem.

The seller swears it was a hydration issue. The tarantula overheated. The temperature overnight was 60. I never lost one during shipping. The abdomen obviously ruptured. I'm at a loss regarding an explanation. The packing seemed ok. I've recieved much much much poorly packed spiders in loose substrate with no problems.

It was probably roughly handled during shipping, perhaps kicked or dropped. Nevertheless, I hope the seller does the right thing.
