Yeah, this was taken right after a rehouse. I wanted a little water to help assist with burrowing. It sat for awhile before the rehouse. It's dry now except for what water is in the bottle cap.
@Tnoob i figured that was the case I just thought I'd mention. I never wait for sub to dry out for arids either, its not like its gonna kill them to have damp sub for a few days
Exactly, It's Utah anyways. We don't really get humidity here. Sub was dry this morning. bottle cap was empty. I put in just enough water to get the cap full, and a little mist on that side of the enclosure. I think I did pretty good. I feel proud of myself.
@Tnoob yeah man. Get used to it burrowing too, mine is like 2.5" and spends 97% of its life completely underground still. I only see her when she wants food
Mine is also not aggressive at all. Never had a threat pose. Personal recommendation to you since you like crazy spiders, get a Phormictopus (sp. green if you can find one, but any will do)
My sp. greens are my most aggressive spiders next to my Stirmis. Both of them give threat posture to anything, eat multiple large prey items at once, and are very very very active and pretty to look at. They are new worlds that behave more like OWs than even OWs. My bigger phormic once attacked the tongs violently because I touched his moss
