@TarantulaGirl549 yep, apart from a lack of eating at the minute, she's fine. Cleaned her out today, very relaxed chilled disposition. I only have the one, she's all I need. I got her when I was 9 years old, so I never got the chance to expand with more. Seriously thinking about it these days. Really want an Ornamental, a Saphire one at that maybe one day. I also have a Royal (ball) Python Ive had nearly 2 years. How many do you have? What species? They truly are beautiful creatures
@Darren they can be funny eaters and they take forever to molt! Thats amazing you've had her so long, you must be very attached to her. I have 10 at the moment, probably will expand when I move out. I have 3 albops, 1 versicolour, 1 irminia, 1 vegans, 1 pulchra, 1 pulchripes, 1 rosea and 1 porteri. So many people have a hugely wrong impression of tarantulas, they are beautiful, fascinating creatures. Love em
To my surprise this little Rosea I got yesterday likes to be out of her enclosure and rests quite happily on me whilst I watch tv, doesn't move a muscle, just lays down and chills out with me. So lush! Will post a pic!
@TarantulaGirl549 brilliant, sounds like you have an awesome collection. You posting pics of them all?? I'd love to have more, there's so many species I'd love to keep and look after. I am very attached to her, I love her dearly. Many people find that weird, bit having her so long, being apart of my life as long as she has, your bound too. I loved her from Day 1!! She's loving her clean tank at the minute, seems to be a proper happy little thing. I hate some people's attitudes towards arachnids.. They are beautiful, and Absolutly fascinating
@Darren i've posted pics of a few of them, I get worried about spamming this site with hundreds of pics of my babies lol. I love them dearly and like to show the world. It's a natural love which I fully understand, I fell in love with my first rosey when I first laid eyes on her, I had her 5 months and she passed. I was so upset to lose her, she was such an individual. Hopefully you have many happy years to come with your girl.
