My red claw scorpion in the middle of molting. This is the first time I've witnessed a scorpion molting. Very exciting experience! :)
@Enn49 it's so cool. They molt so much differently than tarantulas do, lol....and their molt feels more like snake skin than it does a tarantulas molt. Now if I can sex it, lol.....I have no clue. I know that it has to do with the pectines or whatever but if it had a set of book lungs and an epigastric furrow I'd be good to go, lol....
 
So I understand. We realised it was about to moult but still missed it although I did save the old exo. Just waiting for the other one to moult now in the hope I can watch.
 
@Enn49 this one was super fat. You'd swear it was gravid if it wasn't a juvie, lol....I'm gonna post a pic of its underside to see if I can get someone that's more experienced with scorpions to help sex it.
