And I bet the “special” pokies are probably bragging to the others.

They probably do, lol. Breeding project. Europe is fixing to ban breeding of endangered Poecilotheria. You know what that means? It's up to us to keep them from becoming extinct if you get my drift.

These Poecilotheria laws just blow my mind, it just makes zero sense why the people who are working to keep these spiders alive are being depicted as the criminals, while there natural habitat is being destroyed and no one bats an eye at this.

Yeah and it's not mother nature or a natural disaster destroying their habitat. It's a contradiction. Mankind is destroying their habitat and mankind wants to prevent breeding, crossing of state lines/sales of this species but I don't see USFW doing anything to try and keep these species alive until someone can repopulate them in their natural habitat. I would sign up for it. I would donate sacs or hatchlings to be returned to the wild if the destruction of their habitat would stop.

That’s a great point, I’m pretty sure most breeders of these poecilotheria species in the hobby would be more than happy to help out with repopulating these species into their natural habitat. But first we need to make sure that there will still be a habitat for them to be returned to.
