Found this little jumping spider in my bathroom. Its about 4-5mm DLS
Its housedin a 25ml vial with cross ventilation and damp substrate and sphagnum moss.Dont know if it will have prekilled food but offered a micro cricket leg yesterday and few drops of water on the moss. Its super active
they are formidable hunters and unlike tarantulas, rely more on sight. I would throw a live micro cricket in. I know who will come out on top that's for sure. They are cute the little jumpers.
Will try it but seems a little tiny for them yet but will pick one of the little ones.May get some fruit flies or put some spring tails for it to munch on.
Are they ok being kept slightly moist ?
It's always doing sth it never stops may even set it up in a 32oz deli cup to give it more space if I manage to get it to eat live pray.

it's a UK spider so just needs UK conditions. unless your house is really dry it should be ok as is, as long as you can get water on the moss to drink from etc, that will be enough.
I would keep in the sling pot until you know for certain eating. they are always on the move so don't worry about that.
Hi all
It doesn't seem interested in the micro cricket.
Will try with some aphids next to see if it will have a go at them as they seem more appropriate size for it.
