The 1st cricket I gave the diamantinensis escaped the web, so I offered another that he caught, meaning to remove the 1st later. 30mins later to my utter shock, I found the diamantinensis eating both crickets. He must have left his little leafy hammock to get the other one as it was on the substrate
I really thought he (I just call it he but have yet to sex it) wouldnt get that cricket. He's got webbing up on strategic parts of the enclosure so the crafty little bugger KNEW that cricket was moving around down there, and dropped his meal to go and get him. I'm gutted I wasn't watching, it would have been awesome to get on film!
