balding is not a sign of moulting. All bald patches mean is that they have flicked hairs for whatever reason.The abdomen is very large so I would not be offering food anyway as they can actually have problems moulting if too big. Just make sure fresh water is available and just leave him or her to either not feed for a couple/few months or moult. If you see a silk mat being put down and the spider then on it's back, then it is deffo moulting. Hope that helps

@Phil I have not paired but I have no idea if the previous owner at the store did. It has been like this for about 7 months. Extremely fat and not eating.
@Avicularia Kael unlikely to be gravid for so long (although not unheard of). Just a big booty likely. I would just keep fresh water available and don't feed.
