me too. it's very rewarding watching them grow and is some circumstances like GBB, avics, ceribena versi, go through several colour variations. Fascinating and a joy to part of
I hope yours grows into a 10/11inch monster!
Congratulations, it's always nice to get a new Tarantula and you can't go wrong with an LP. It looks a lot like mine, probably very similar in size too. And I'll bet yours moults before mine (glares across the room at the enclosure) lmao
@Phil thank you sir! it's just so fascinating to see the transformation take place, especially one of this size! I've been wanting this gentle giant for quite some time now and I'm looking forward to the multiple molts I will see in a short amount of time . GBB's and ceribena versi are so cool and I am considering getting a sling just to see the multi faceted color variation in each molt. You got me inspired, Phil!
@Jess S LOL your L pary is going to surprise you . Before you know it, that little one is gonna be 4" in a year! But I'm gonna make sure mine is bigger than yours LOL. Nah jk I'm sure yours is gonna be a behemoth! Just feed her good and watch em grow!
@SikmT7
Every time I see an alert from you I think yours has moulted already!! lol Maybe mine will get round to it one day! 4" in a year? Can't wait
I think I been expecting a quicker moult as when I bought it it was advertised as 1cm (and that's what I received) but I couldn't have it shipped for 2 weeks. I've had it 3.5 weeks ( feels lot longer). I've been counting the 2 weeks in as well , but maybe it had already moulted In that time. Just as well or it would have been microscopic!
@Jess S they are quick growers for sure, I am a nerd and do much research on each species and it was reported that they can potentially grow 4 inches in one year, but of course they all vary. LOL I will PM you when mine molts, but if yours beats mine to the punch them PM me . I've had mine for almost a week now and still microscopic but when I gave it a pre killed pin head cricket, it devoured it within an hour or 2! It is possible that they can grow quicker than what I had mentioned, this is my first L pary so I'm still observing and learning. Can't wait to see what an awesome T this one will become!
