baumgarteni probably from the spidershop as they have them listed on their website currently as brought in direct from Mexico (with CITES certificate)

TSS state on thier site they are supplied with a CITES certificate. We did not get one, so maybe not them.

TSS had about 5 tables I think Sam was telling me so will probably have been the biggest exhibitor there.

Yes, they were the biggest exhibitor there. One whole wall. I know I brought a T Blondi from them & I know one other. But cannot remember if that was the baumgarteni or not. But as it did not come with the CITES certificate, then I do not think it was from them.

Sorry to jump in but how come a 1cm baumgarteni is nearly twice as expensive as a 2cm true smithi on their website? Are they more rare?
I've ordered said smithi + an auratum in a moment of madness yesterday. Brachys are wonderful though. No wonder Phil wants the full set! :)

Yeah baumgarteni are much rarer hence the hefty price tag. They are actually the same price as the "new" Brachy sp. Tortuaguero that TSS were selling in June I think it was. They apparently have connections with Mexican breeders and can therefore get "pure" bloodline examples across to the UK which is something the European sellers have been doing for a while now.
