Ok so I have a juvenile male B.smithi in a critter keeper next to an adult female G.rosea and the lil smithi is always on the side of the enclosure and in the evenings roams around for a way out. Will Ts react this way to the opposite sex even though they are different species? I mean he is hardly ever on the floor (my bedding is completely dry loose coconut fiber )

They are just settling in. The behavior should taper off in a bit. Most of mine take a few weeks. In fact, one of mine that I'd had for well over a month isn't completely settled yet. It takes some time.
