Sling questions

so i have gotten my first sling it is a Acanthoscurri Genticulata .5 inch i an use to caring for Ts from juvie to mature but i haven't owned a sling before . I have read the section of my Tarantulas keepers guide book about slings but from my experience reading and experiencing is two different things. so if there are any tips on sling care i would greatly appreciate it ... my main concern is hydration .. mist ? or not .. will it get all its water from food ? but any other useful info

slings are easy, especially genics. a deli cup with damp substrate is all you need. Feed weekly and really that's it.
and for the record the TKG is a terrible book. I'm actually not aware of a good book. I've heard Jacobi's is good, but I've not read it yet.
