I just put the molts I save in a box, I don't really do anything else.

You can stuff the abdomen with cotton and glue it back together. Large ones are nice for shadow boxes. Heres one I'm currently working on.

Aside from trying to scare someone or leaving it for your wife to find, is there any reason to save a molt? Inquiring minds...

I have been using an acrylic artwork dry spray, it’s typically used to preserve artwork and paintings, but it provides a fantastic gloss, and a protective coating too. Cheap, can get it anywhere they have crafts. :) I never thought of hairspray! I’m sure that works wonders!

I have acrylic artwork spray. I have both matte and gloss! LOL
