When you collect one of your molts, after you shape it to dry, do you use anything on it to preserve it? To display it in?
I leave them laying around the house for my wife to find...I keep meaning to save one and glue it back together. Not for display though. I want to throw it on people. Lmao
Its just cool man. No other reason needed.Aside from trying to scare someone or leaving it for your wife to find, is there any reason to save a molt? Inquiring minds...

Nice....You can stuff the abdomen with cotton and glue it back together. Large ones are nice for shadow boxes. Heres one I'm currently working on.View attachment 32613
Nonsense, I have one with many beautiful shades of yellow..I call it my stinky yellow rainbow..Its like collecting toenails, except its cool and not gross.
I have been using an acrylic artwork dry spray, it’s typically used to preserve artwork and paintings, but it provides a fantastic gloss, and a protective coating too. Cheap, can get it anywhere they have crafts. I never thought of hairspray! I’m sure that works wonders!hairspray works
