One thing I have learned from keeping spiders and a snake is how gut-level afraid some people are of them. For as many tarantula people there are out there, we are still a very fringe hobby. And getting anyone interested in it is a tough sell.

At the end of the day, everyone is afraid of something.

I often forget just how many people are afraid of them sometimes to the point of hatred but every now and then you meet a fellow T keeper and it's exciting.
