This is Stig, my super friendly Grammostola sp. She is approximately 4" and unknown age. I rescued her from poor living conditions. The previous owner stated that he got her at about 1" and that was a year and a half ago. In the conditions her previous owner had her she was living in substrate made up of dead rotting crickets, mealworms, gravel, and Cheerios. (Yes, Cheerios, the cereal.) She now has a nice new proper enclosure Eco-earth, a small hill, some plants, and a good hiding spot. She is extremely docile, has never shown any aggression, and is perfectly content just sitting on your hand. I placed her on the couch to get some photos in good light.
