That is an awesome variety with good names! Would love to see photo's.
Well, a year has gone by and I'm finding out the A. geniculata is not what it seems... It does not have stripes.Two new babies. Acanthoscurria geniculata and a Grammostola pulchripes. My Grammostola rosea I bought in 1998.

Could you post a pic?Well, a year has gone by and I'm finding out the A. geniculata is not what it seems... It does not have stripes.
Thank you for the video! I'll post more photos after the next molt.Its getting stripes!
there's a video I was watching, going to see if I can find it , just stills following the genic's growth after its molts.
Let me hunt it down
I need one of these eventually, soon as all my slings are an inch or so I'll get a few new babies.
edit:: found it
Those are all of the genic? And you've had it a year. That's not a geniculata, you're right. I have a large female and a baby. That's not one For some reason it looks familiar to me though..It is smaller than my Grammostola pulchripes. Here are some photos, sorry about quality, some from my phone.
I'm not seeing curly hairs though, shouldn't they show after a year? It doesn't look like any Brachy i've been looking at getting. Closest is the ruhnaui, but the thorax is darker, could be premolt though.Looks like a B. albop to me.
