[QUOTE="Chubbs, post: 63512, member: 1084"] Yeah I don't know what it is about comedies but I find myself being so... particular when it comes to my taste in them. I am more diverse and open-minded when it comes to other genres of movies, but when it comes to humorous stuff, it really has to fit my taste a bit more in order for it to be a truly memorable/impactful comedy (to me). For example, I am just not a huge fan of raunchy humor. Notice I said raucnhy not vulgar or mature. It's hard to explain I guess. I really enjoy multi-genre movies. My favorite types of horror films are scifi-horror so films like Alien (1979), John Carpenter's The Thing (1982), and David Cronenberg's The Fly would definitely fall under my favorites here.
