More Noob Questions

hi all
I have a pink toe.
He has a nice set up tall. things to climb on, a safe spot to retreat to if wanted.
However he seems to like sitting on the glass mostly out in the open no webs
he's eating fine just took 3 crickets yesterday. humidity and temp are in the correct range

Being new to the hobby I'm just curious if this is normal.
I have pics of the enclosure so you can see

Beautiful spider. Never had a pink toe, got friends with them, and most f the time I've seen them just sitting there, on the glass or on branches etc. enjoy it I'd say, my Rose sits under her bridge and comes out only to eat or spin.

My old pink toes used to hang out on the side of the glass, nothing to worry about

Have you moved her recently? She could just still be settling in. But it is nothing to worry about. Enjoy your stunning tarantula.

I think I shifted vinnie I'm to the new digs about a week ago. I was pretty sure there was no worries but I wanted to get other input being I'm so new

Oh, it looked like some kind of pine or cedar chips in the photo. Coco is the way to go. Nice looking set up, I'm sure your T is very happy.

thanks im almost thinking a molt may be coming. Vinnie's been eating like a champ. now nothing for 2 days goes in to a defensive posture when I offer. now Vinnie is in the most secluded corner all tucked in.
from what I read a molt may be coming
