Lula molting?

Ok every one...the tarantulas abdomen is turning dark black. This is a good sign. I am nervous for the little one. I have watched you tube videos about molting. It looks like a terrible thing to experience.

Yup looks like she is in premolt. Has she been eating a lot? Is she slow and lethargic? If she is in premoult, leave her water dish full, don’t put in any feeders, and leave her alone.

She ate once right after I got her she has refused the last two offerings. Yes lethargic.

My G. pulchra just molted on Wednesday...I know it is scary for a first time tarantula owner. Hang in there and keep us updated!
