hi all, I lost a mealworm ( pin) in one of my slings enclosures, it burrowed down into the substrate. Should remove the sling and try and get the pin worm out, or will it come out and give my sling the chance to take it. I may have to remove everything in the enclosure and sift through the substrate to do this, I don't wanna stress the sling out if I don't have to.

just watch for it as long as your slings not about to molt, some of mine will actually dig for them ^^

i agree. sometimes it is fun to watch them dig for it. but if it is a very small spiderling then definitely keep a close eye out. a mealworm will chomp at a spider. in the future u can crush its head. it will still wiggle around and u dont have to worry about injury to ur spider. :)
