The husbandry of keeping versicolors has been quite an interesting topic. One day after getting mine, I found this video (and deadly tarantula girl's videos) wrote notes down and then couldn't find it again until now. Neat stuff.

I don't most mine down. She drinks from the water dish just fine.


I find the striatta to be more slightly tempting then ornata, which gets almost as big as L Klugi!! Those slings still look interesting.

I'm thinking about P. Striatta. I think I have a decent spare enclosure. The height and width are ok, but the length of the same as the height 8x4x8. The screen top is totally ventilated.

Of course, some will howl with protests. I've heard that they are good first ones. If ornata gets to be 9 of 10 inches, that's almost as big as the Lasiodoras, a whole lot of spider!! I'm sure his are record sizes by now.
