My son found this on our living room floor already dead but we have no idea what it is. It's definitely not one of my Ts.
I'm not sure if it is a resident here in the UK or something that has come in on shopping.
Dls is around 1".

That looks like a Pardosa amentata. wolf or spotted wolf spider. Mesurments for British spiders are given in body length & that should be around 6 - 8 mm.

I'd say it was nearer 10mm body length though so I guess a big mature female.

This is an agelenid, not lycosid. Eratigena/Tegenaria domesticus is likely.

Agelenidae and lycosidae are very distantly related. Agelenidae is closest to desiidae/amphinectidae (metaltella, badumna etc).
