Hey everyone, just joined the forum! In the process right now of getting a Chromatopelma cyanopubescans sling (1"), Grammostola pulchripes (1/2"), and waiting on a list of freebie slings I might be able to get.

Total noob here, but I did have a 2" GBB a few years ago (would still have it if not for an accident which I do not want to talk about) so I know a few things. Hoping to learn more about enclosures, as I only plan on 3 and having them in display containers when they near adult size.

Hello and welcome. :)
We'd love to see photos when you get them.

These guys were supposed go show up Wednesday, but arrived yesterday. Homing them went without a hitch for all of them, though the GBB almost got away! The other two Ts were very calm and slow, and went straight to hiding.

So far only the GBB ate. I have crickets in with the N. chromatus and G. pulchripes, but they haven't eaten them yet. Both are hiding and are probably still stressed.

No photo of the chromatus yet. Down hiding in its burrow for now.
