GNATS!!!! WHAT DO I DO

I have been battling gnats in my kitchen since warm weather hit. Now I found them in my P cambridgei enclosure and there are maggots. What should I do? Do I need to rehouse???

Yes you need to fully clean that tank. A reptile disinfectant will work well to clean it.

I don't have that. What about scalding hot water or boiling it?

You can use hot soapy water, you just have to make sure you rinse it very well.

What I can say about gnat's aka fruit flies clean house take leftover food out of the house immediately and survive a week or so with out fruits on the table or counter

Well they are almost gone out of the house now. im going to be cleaning her enclosure tonight and drying it and then putting new substrate in. I found out I shouldn't be misting substrate LOL

I bought a fruit fly trap at walmart. we keep bananas out. that thing worked awesome! looks like a little apple. in the pest control section.
