Thank u Kormath! Still not entirely sure what type she is still... swaying towards Brachypelma Vagans :/ Shes very sweet & docile. Not shown any aggression, would say more nervy but always out on display if not sleeping in her hideyho.

Going with male, but closer straight-on pics of the furrow would be helpful. Pretty sure it's a male though. Pretty spider! The white tipping on the setae make me doubt vagans, but I'm not a NW specialist.

What is the leg span of this tarantula? I'm thinking it's not a Brachypelma anything. Looks more like G. iheringi to me. The pics you have taken are a bit difficult to tell sex with. I was leaning female but there appears to be a small "triangle" patch above the exuvium. Get a clear shot of the space between the top two book lungs and I can tell you if it's male or female.

I'm almost positive it's iheringi. Could be G. actaeon as well but they tend to get darker as they age. Iheringi keep the smoky black color and raspberry abdominal setae. From the ocular abdominal markings, I'm saying Grammastola for sure. Definitely not a Brachypelma. 90% on iheringi but my doubts are pulling me toward actaeon.
