I've seen some 1st instar slings for sale from polish sellers at about £290 just a bit expensive

At least they're in the hobby. Price will come down a bit. Nothing in North America yet?

I've read the importers illegally imported them.

Fantastic looking spider. I dont blame importers for obtaining stock illegally. If I saw a gorgeous specimen like that, I'd put it in a vial, jam it in the ol prison wallet, and hobble right back to the plane. And I'd try to get a trio, so whatever woman went with me on vacation..well...

Lol yeah who cares if it was illegally exported. The governments just want their cut. Nobody is genuinle concerned with preserving nature anymore if were being honest. Hobbyists are the only reason half these spiders aren't extinct anyways
