Baby Tarantula Eating Funny?

My Chilean Rose is eating the dead millworms that i drop into his/her container, I think. Ill drop the millworm in and then leave it alone for awhile, but when I come back, my sling is just sitting by the worm, appearing to be biting into it but it doesn't seem to be eating any of it, maybe just drinking from it? If I try to lift the worm out while the sling is in this position, then it lifts with it and looks like its hanging by its fangs, so I stopped trying to take the worm if the sling is near it. Is this normal?

It's only that the mealworm is way too big for your sling. You are a generous keeper! [emoji4]

I advise you to use smaller preys not to risk your tarantula's life.
