Is it safe to leave a micro-roach in the enclosure? Other food alternatives?

I'm gonna try to get some red runners. Thanks for the advice. On the plus side, I looked in the enclosure a little while later and she(sling) was most of the way across the enclosure. I looked again probably 30min later and she was in that spot, having the roach for dinner. Same thing happened...

Is it safe to leave a micro-roach in the enclosure? Other food alternatives?

I know it's bad to leave crickets. I have a tiny sling G. Pulchripes(Chaco Golden Knee). I got some micro-roaches for her and it's not going well. Nothing wrong with the roaches themselves, but they start burrowing the second they hit the substrate and one of them got away completely. Is it safe...

Can a habitat be too big?

As OP said, the T is an adult curly, so no need to speculate if it's fossorial, arboreal, etc, and it's needs in those situations, if we read the first post. She’s ~the legspan of a penny. The water in the cap is very shallow. Just didn’t know if she might be thirsty and...

Can a habitat be too big?

I know all Ts are different, and some are "pet holes" etc, and I'm not nearly as experienced as others on this board, but the G. Pulchripes I had was in a 10gal and used all of it's space. It would sit in different areas of the tank, move substrate all around the tank, etc. I would have actually...

    Hey, Tarantula Forum Members!

I just got a Grammostola Pulchripes(Chaco Golden Knee) sling. I've had one in the past, along with a Chilean Rose Hair. I'm excited to get back into the hobby and watch this little one grow! I just got her(fingers crossed) yesterday, so I'll wait until I get her an enclosure before posting pics...
