There is a water bowl in the corner and yes it does have a screen top, unfortunately that's the best I have right now and I do keep half of the tank covered on top.
Just recently acquired an Avic Avic and would like some feedback of my enclosure for her! It's a 5.5 gallon Aquariam and is not a vertical tank, but still have mostly vertical objects in the tank for her. No cross ventilation, but great ventilation on the top! What do you all think?
Waiting for a molt to see if it's a female, but from the ventral shots I think it might be. The tank does have a lot of ventilation from the lid being a screen top, and maybe I will look into the cross ventilation. Thanks for the advice, maybe someone could try to identify from the vent shot...
I have some cork bark for her to climb up and all of the vegetation is vertical. I just got her two days ago and she explored her enclosure, but mostly just sits on the glass. Is this okay or should I find something other than a cork bark log.
Is it okay if there is more length than height? I have an Avic currently housed in a tank that is about 2 feet long and 1 foot high. Think that is okay?
