Yay!! New stirmi juvenile and new enclosure

Just got 3 new T's today. 1 being a 3" juvenile stirmi. It looks exactly like my adult. Anyway I made an enclosure out of a plastic bin, about 12l x 8w x 6h. It has a kid but I wanted to make an access door on top for feeding, watering, maintenance, etc. I used a CD case, cut a hole in it and the lid. I hot glued it, ran window weather stripping around it for a tight seal, and whamo. I think it works. U?

Ok, quick question, how did you cut the hole in the cd case?

I used a ruler to make straight lined box and used a Dremel with a cutting disk. Took literally 5 minutes to do

Ahhh, nice! I've been checking out Phormictopus lately, I want the purple one, and a cancerides as well. Still need a smithi, too...

I love it. It has such beautiful marking in the abdomen. Can't wait for the Smithi to grow and show those trademark markings

Mine died when we flooded but its on my list of must haves, never realized how much I used it till it was gone lol
