Everybody! Those of you who have responded to my questions in the past know about October, my mexican fireleg, maybe even seen his picture. Well He finally molted!!!

Unfortunately no but this is his first molt while living with me so I put it in a some plastic wrap and saved it. He was right next to the molt when I found it and he did look pretty wiped out.

That's a shame may be next time. I save all mine in old deli cups, I have them all except my OBTs because she uses them to decorate her cave so I only get bits.

That's hilarious! She sounds like quite a character.

I have quite a few that do this as well. It sucks when you really want to know the gender of the tarantula, but they won't let you have the molt.

To be honest I wouldn't know. She came to me as a juvi 19 months ago and built a cave of web and substrate where she hides away only appearing for maybe an hour if I'm lucky every couple of months.
