My Mature Male Hysterocrates Gigas has been content to grab food, but will leave his meals largely unfinished. Moist substrate + half-eaten roaches (that I cannot reach) = springtails and mites.
Today I noticed he had webbed the space between himself and the leftovers. Stuck in the web...what are these?
If you watch the video really closely, you can see these things move almost like worms, sort of flailing.
It should be said, I have positively identified a few adult springs tails and fewer mites elsewhere in the enclosure. Just wanted to hear your thoughts and see if you think its worth it to rehouse him. Thanks! : )
