Water dish, mist or both?

Awaiting avic slings, versi and avic.
Any suggestions on best practice, keeping them hydrated?

Water dish. Misting can cause a stuffy enclosure and a dead Avic.

Thanks, do you think dishes need to be raised, have seen some info about avics going down to the ground to drink

Arboreals drink on the ground. Tarantulas run on instincts...one is to come to the ground for water. There is no proof elevated water dishs benefit tarantulas. The only thing that is proven is a elevated water dish evaporates faster.
