Update On My T Frency

About last week I joined this awesome and helpful community. I posted about how my old gal molted upright and in a wonky position.
Anyways, fun update. I think she's good to go now. Woke up and saw her halfway in her water dish, made me freak out for a slip second then I noticed she was actually drinking. WOO HOO! Here is the other kicker. I noticed what I thought was a leftover molt of her leg, (the leg that was deformed) was just chilling in her tank. WRONG! It was not leftover molt but her actual leg. She tore off her own deformed leg.
This spider keeps surprising me. So happy she's finally hydrating and crawling with zero issues now. Never would I ever thought that I would see the day that one of my beloved pets would tear off their leg. Lets hope from now on she molts how she's suppose to. Had me on edge and worried about her for weeks. LOL!
Hope everyone is doing well.

That's great news. She'll manage just fine without that leg and after a moult or 2 it will have grown back as good as new.
They certainly do like to worry us but they're amazingly tough

I'm so happy!!! I've had other T's in the past and NEVER experienced what she went through. Not gonna lie, I did freak out when I saw her almost completely submerged then I thought, wait, calm down. Haha. She is one determined lady. Back to her aggressive moody self too. :D
