UK keepers: Around 200 tarantulas in rescue shelters

Someone shared this on my FB this morning.
The RSPCA (I know, not everyone's favourite organisation) currently have around 200 Tarantulas in their shelters looking for homes. It's a varied mix of species, too, by the sound of it.
The article is really lovely, but it did make me laugh how the first picture they show is an OBT right between "adorable" and "cuteness overload" lol.

I'm quite sure they charge extortionate amount for rehoming any animal. They wanted £50 to rehome a rabbit when I bought my first one for £5 and adopted my second one for £24 (voluntary donation amount) from pets @ home adoption.
