Someone shared this on my FB this morning.
The RSPCA (I know, not everyone's favourite organisation) currently have around 200 Tarantulas in their shelters looking for homes. It's a varied mix of species, too, by the sound of it.
The article is really lovely, but it did make me laugh how the first picture they show is an OBT right between "adorable" and "cuteness overload" lol.

This is the website you go onto to get all the information (which isn't much), I've emailed as haven't been able to ring them but not had a reply yet. There is no information about T's they might or might not have. But when possible I'd definitely adopt.

Due to the high interest on these tarantulas we are having to change our system. If you are interested in rehoming a tarantula please call 01273 554218 after 11am tomorrow Tuesday 14/6/16 and leave your details and we will get back to you in the following week many thanks.

This is on their Facebook page

I'm quite sure they charge extortionate amount for rehoming any animal. They wanted £50 to rehome a rabbit when I bought my first one for £5 and adopted my second one for £24 (voluntary donation amount) from pets @ home adoption.
