Hi
it seems a bit on the large side.Do you feed live pray or pre killed?Only asking as even they are a very good eaters the enclosure size may reduce the pray and predator encounters making it difficult to feed once it makes its burrow. Also I will move water closer to its hide.
It may work or not.You need to observe it and go from there.
I housed mine in 1oz pot initially, then moved them to 4oz pot when they hit 2cm and later they are in 8 oz pot and about 3cm leg span.
Few pics below to get better idea.
1oz pot

Hi
The more space is beneficial only in relation how often you rehouse.Tarantulas feel more comfortable(secure)in tight spaces especially as slings and thats why often they burrow and outgrow that behaviour once they gain some size.Often larger ( or bare)enclosures result in more reclusive spider.
Anyway if it gets its pray and goes to the water it all should be good.
Its not set in stone how you keep them.Stick to whatever work for you and gives you confidence.
