T. epicureanum - do I need to wait for molt to dry?

Here's what I have so far, whatever that white blob in the middle means. Unfortunately it ripped, so, that's not super helpful. Any thoughts or do I likely need to wait until next molt?
It's only 2", so this is the best that my basic kit lens could accomplish.

Eh, I'm going to go with possibly female, that protuberance between the two upper booklungs probably wouldn't be there at all if it was male.

Unfortunately, I cannot find an image of what Tlilocatl epicureanum spermatheca looks like, but if feels safe to say that any obvious structures in the middle there is probably that. Though, I've never seen them be white before, so have to admit that's throwing me off a bit.

Let it dry out, then rehydrate the area between the anterior book lungs with a single tiny drop of water; it will be easier to see.
A microscope won't hurt either.

I can't see the photo, just a big red x as this site suddenly stopped working properly for me when I said I use ad blocker (total coincidence I'm sure :D). However your "epicureanum" will have spermathecae shaped similar to this but at 2" it will be more transparent. https://hosting.photobucket.com/albums/g78/wraithspirit/spider bits/.highres/100_2422.jpg
If there is just 2 little circles then these will be male accessory organs. See here for a photo of these - https://www.tarantulaforum.com/threads/how-to-sex-your-tarantula.281/

I sort of think a lot of people can't see my photos. The link below is a hosted version. :)
It's a little weird, because even dried out it's still a white protuberance.

Hey Jennifer, the spermathecae that you are looking for to help determine the sex is not in the photo.

The white protuberance(i love that word), are the 2 sets of booklungs for breathing and stuff. The spermathecae would be just north of the top set which unfortunately is not present and appears to be torn right across the love line.

I hope this helps.

Thank you- I find they love to damage their molt right there. Oh well, worth a shot. :)
