It should be perfectly normal. But to be sure:
    - what are your temps? Do you use a heating device?
    - how moist is the substrate?
    - does she has a good and tight hide?
    - could you please post a picture of her enclosure?

They do that a lot when you rehouse them or take them out of the cage to clean it with new substrate.

It's normal behavior. They don't understand the concept of glass or take no for an answer.

My son's Heterometrus petersii was climbing up the glass yesterday after he'd removed a patch of mould off the substrate.

Have a hot dry side and a cool moist side of the enclosure. The scorpion will go where it wants to go. Be sure to have a voltage controller. Heating is very helpful but seldom at full power.
