scorpion trying to climb walls

my h.spinifer sometimes tries to climb walls. i see her doing it mostly at night but she doesnt do it too often. i keep her in ideal conditions in a 30x25cm enclosure. i use coco fiber as substrate

They do that a lot when you rehouse them or take them out of the cage to clean it with new substrate.

It's normal behavior. They don't understand the concept of glass or take no for an answer.

My son's Heterometrus petersii was climbing up the glass yesterday after he'd removed a patch of mould off the substrate.

Have a hot dry side and a cool moist side of the enclosure. The scorpion will go where it wants to go. Be sure to have a voltage controller. Heating is very helpful but seldom at full power.
