What’s up y’all. I’m recently getting back into the hobby, and own my first Trinidad Chevron. Had a fun experience rehousing (hopefully her). Unfortunately, it hasn’t eaten or come out since. Approx a week ago. She’s made a small cave/ burrow under the cork bark on the floor. I’ve offered a few crickets, but no go so far. Also have a new Brazilian Dwarf Pink Leg. She’s (hopefully) much smaller, and likes to hang out. Eats well too w small crickets. Good to meet yall. Any tips/ advise is always appreciated.

Hello, welcome back, and congratulations. My first Psalmopeous Cambridgei maled out close to 7" DLS and pretty much became a sweetheart.lol. Already got another and is still a small but Juvie sized T. Love Psalmo's . Mostly keep old world species ( luv to torture myself or maybe the adrenaline..I truly dunno! ) But Psalmopeous are easily my favorite new worlders but will soon get some Ephebopus species I hope. Cheers!

Ya, I’ve had lots of brochis etc in the past. I wanted something more challenging, also for the rush and learning experience. I’ll be getting an old world arboreal next. Nothing picked yet.

Welcome back to the hobby this is a really friendly place and great help.
My P. Cambridgei just moulted the other day looks to be about 9cm DLS now, destroyed the moult though so still unsexed, does look female ventrally though so . I've never kept a Kochiana Brunnipes so can't help you there I'm not into any dwarf species. I would have set up the Cambridgei in something smaller to start with, they are going to burrow a bit at that size, something like this will be ideal for it, and you, as it will help you track feedings and stuff.

You can hardly but there is an Amazonius Burgessi in there slightly smaller than you're Cambridgei but she has just been moved to this home from one of these.

That's a Nhandu Coloratovillosus sling.

Thank you! I’ll be happy once I see the chevron eat. The dwarf is always out, and eats well. I have a few different containers sizes coming today to measure around with. I had 2 mantis ootheca hatch yesterday, so I can’t seem to find enough small containers haha.

Also best trying to get all the scientific names for what you have, make labels up and put them on the enclosure that's what I used to do to remember them. There can be issues with using the common names as for some species, there are the same or similar to others, although scientifically they are totally different T's also that's what the majority of people use, I knew what the chevron was but no idea about the dwarf had to go research the name and compare to your photo.

Old world arboreals can definitely be a handful! My most laid back is my Poki Regalis. Bought her from somebody local and she is full grown huge! Didn't raise her but is by far more laid back than my other old world arboreals. I have a female Aspinochilus Rufus , Phormingochilus Arboricola large juvie unsexed, and a H. Mac Juvie. I think that's all my old world arboreals. Probably forgot somebody though. All very secretive T's! The Arboricola I hardly see and only late night but he/ she is absolutely gorgeous! But wait! They all are.Lol,lol Except for the Regalis their attitudes are rather hot! No problems with maintenance as they always hide but the rehouses can be thrilling to say the least! I found , if feasible, to leave them on their cork bark and move spider with cork bark to next enclosure! Makes life less stressful for you and the spood! Happy Spoodering!

Chilobrachys are, so far, evidently my favorite! I have + 6" Kaeng Kraken and Dyscolous Blue! My biggest! Then followed by a CF Vung Tau, a Kat Tien, Laos Brown Forrest, Guangxiensis, Kobal Spien, a CF Huahini, and a Saraburi. I guess I went a bit Chilocrazy!
