Question Regarding the Venom Potency of C. schmidti

No tarantula has a bite that is considered to be medically significant. It may be possible that someone will have a allergic reaction to a bite. But there are no currently available reports of any allergic reactions to tarantula bites, so an allergic reaction, is a potential possibility, not a known or previously recorded risk.
Bite wise, the possibility is a few hours of discomfort at the most, plus a minor skin puncture, which will need appropriate care to prevent infection. Are the most likely outcome.
The schmidti, is a pet hole, so don't expect to get to see it much, let alone get the chance to be bitten very often. When out, it has the potential to be fast moving & would use that as it's first line of defence, rather than biting.
