Question Regarding Substrate for Hadrurus Species

Would an even mixture of coconut fibers and natural sand be suitable for any Hadrurus species? This is just for a future reference.

Sand and clay mix.

No coco. They appreciate an additional loose layer of sand to groom in, as well. Solifugae like that, too.

Mix the sand and clay by hand or with a stick, dont shake. Saturate, then allow to dry til approx. 75% dry.

Adding some kind of structure to burrow around helps them alot. Every now and then spritz the surface and repair stability. Adding a dark opaque cover to the bottom few inches of the tank helps them relax and cease tunneling behavior.
