Question about water dishes

How deep should a water dish be? I see numerous posts about having or not having a water dish, but none answering my question. Should it depend upon the size of the tarantula, I usually use more shallow ones, but was noticing one I have seems a little high, can my C.cyaneopubescens drink from it ok? Should change it out, although I have never seen him drink as I have some of my others.

Depth doesn’t matter, a spider can walk on the water. Quick evaporation will happen with a shallow dish. I use deep ones with all my tarantulas.

That one should work fine. They can climb and drowning isn't really an issue
